Who we are and how we work

Mirador Review is an independent editorial desk. We publish analysis of brokers and of digital-options and fixed-time platforms for people trading from Colombia, in Spanish, English and Portuguese. The same desk signs all three versions: the text is written once in Spanish and then translated, so a reader in Bogota and a reader who prefers English get exactly the same information.

We are not the platform

Mirador Review is not affiliated with Pocket Broker or Pocket Option, is not owned by either of them and is not operated by them. We are not part of their team, we do not manage user accounts, we do not process payments and we do not speak on their behalf. When these pages describe what the platform does, they do so from the outside, by reading what the platform itself publishes.

If you came here looking for the operator's support, the right channel is theirs, not ours. On Write to us we set out in detail what we can and cannot do for you.

How we work

Our raw material is what an operator publishes about itself: its website, its contractual and payment documents, and the official listings for its apps. We quote those sources with the date on which we read them, because the conditions attached to this kind of product change without notice.

What an operator does not publish is information too, and we treat it as such. If a company does not publish a fact any reasonable reader would look for, we record that as an absence confirmed on a specific date, and we do not fill the gap with third-party material or with assumptions of our own.

We do not test, audit, measure or benchmark platforms, and we do not open accounts, deposit or withdraw money in order to write these pages. Our work is reading and cross-checking documents, and we say so openly because readers deserve to know where every sentence comes from. That is why we write "according to the operator's payment policy" or "the official app listing states", and never "we checked it ourselves".

We also publish no scores, no stars, no rankings and no verdicts of superiority or of absolute safety. A verdict like that would only be honest if we had run the test we say we do not run.

What we do with facts that move

Fees, minimums, payment methods, processing windows and country lists are the facts that shift most. The internal rule is straightforward: a figure appears on the site only when a vendor page states it, and always quoted and dated. Where no published figure exists, we describe the mechanism instead of inventing a number: what depends on what, what can lengthen a process, and where to check the current value.

This means we sometimes answer "it depends on the method and on whether verification is already approved" where another site would hand you a round number. We prefer a verifiable answer to a comfortable one that may no longer be true on the day you read it.

Who signs the work

The editor responsible for this site is Renata Villalba, Payments and Withdrawals Editor. You can write to the desk at [email protected] with questions about the approach, the scope or the sources behind any page.

Corrections

Mistakes happen, and a platform's terms can change on the very day we publish. If you find something incorrect or out of date, write to us at [email protected] with the address of the page, the sentence that looks wrong, and the source that shows the correct fact.

We review every report. If the fact is wrong we correct the page and update the verification date shown on it; if we keep the text after reviewing the source, we explain why. Note that a reasoned criticism is never deleted, however uncomfortable it may be.

Nothing we publish is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Trading binary options, digital options and other fixed-time products involves significant risk and can result in the loss of the invested capital. This content is for over-18s only.
